Formed in 1999 as a break from my solo career (which was becoming quite the grind, see Perspective 3.3 ), Todd's Theory is a four piece modern rock cover band. As the lead singer for the band I get to dress up in leather, strut around the stage and generally act like a rock star. Yes, it is as much fun as it sounds. It provides a nice diversion for me and an opportunity to immersemyself in the kind of music my original songs have been leaning towards anyway (but I'm still a singer/songwriter at heart!). We play a variety of current modern rock hits from STP, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Tool etc. as well as some classics that never got old. We pride ourselves on our song selection, choosing tunes other bands won't (or can't) to play. Hopefully we'll be doing some original music in the future. Being in the band finally allows me to stretch out with my big voice which up 'till now was basically freaking out the coffeehouse/bookstore normals. It's always a kick-ass time when we perform so do come check us out when we're in town. Like our slogan says we are "modern rock, done right". IN TODD WE TRUST!
